This is a full-time, hands-on role working on commercial concreting projects across the ACT. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality finishes across slabs, footpaths, structural elements and other concrete works. The position suits a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working within a professional and productive team environment. Tasks & Responsibilities Finish and level concrete surfaces to high standards Screeding, floating and trowelling concrete Work on commercial slabs, pathways and structural pours Assist with formwork preparation and placement Ensure correct curing and finishing techniques Operate tools and finishing equipment safely Maintain clean and organised work areas Follow WHS procedures on all worksites Skills & Experience Essential Minimum 1 year experience in commercial concreting Proven experience finishing concrete to high standards Ability to work effectively within a team environment Strong work ethic and reliability White Card Physically fit and capable of manual work Highly Regarded Experience across commercial or civil projects Ability to read plans or set levels Machine tickets or additional site certifications Salary & Benefits $48 - $50 per hour super (depending on experience) Full-time permanent role Consistent pipeline of commercial projects Supportive and professional team environment Opportunity for long-term employment About the company The employer is a well-established Canberra-based construction contractor delivering commercial concreting projects across the ACT.
